Kazbar hounds evolved in 1992 when Stan Armstrong got involved with Whippets after having miniature Schnauzers for 10 years before that.  Stan Armstrong met Michael Long in 2005 and a great team started in March of that year.  We have two beautiful two legged daughters, Sarah and Ashley who reside in St. Louis, MO for now.  We have recently moved into our current address in May 2011 that affords the children, all 5 of them the comforts afforded only to royalty.  Their accomodations include their own ensuite bath and their own fireplace with ample space to run in their large spacious play area outside.  We get the rest of the humble abode to enjoy.

Our Business

In 2010 we started attending our first Lure Coursing trials and quickly wanted to get involved in the fun.  Those kids love to run after the rabbit.  We enquired about the attire needed for the kids and found out that they wore Coursing Coats and we tried to find a source for them to no avail.  I asked Donna Richards if I could borrow a pattern from one of hers and the rest is history.  Corsing Coats by Kazbar was born and has grown extensively.  Our children will never go without a Coursing Coat again.

Who We Are

We Love to show dogs in the confirmation ring and love to Course dogs as well.  The Blue Ridge mountains and climate make this an ideal environment for raising whippets.   We would love to let you enjoy the fun as well.  Contact us for further details.
